A rollercoaster of pros and cons

Outstanding snorkeling experiences await just off the beach, and the staff members offer warm, attentive hospitality. The all-inclusive package is fantastic, featuring a delightful assortment of food choices, especially the expertly prepared reef fish....

Snorkelling was epic with awesome visibility, saw loads of turtles and fish! The staff were so friendly and made me feel right at home. The laid-back vibe and local island access were a nice touch for exploring....  

The room was spacious with a comfortable bed and effective air conditioning, providing a cool retreat from the tropical heat. Enjoyed delightful meals with an array of excellent Asian dishes, particularly the occasionally featured salmon that stood out. On another note, some areas around the property could benefit from maintenance, as a few facilities felt outdated. The mornings occasionally started with the crowing of roosters, which could disrupt an otherwise peaceful experience.

The food was delectable, especially the local dishes spiced just right – can't forget the reef fish! The pool area was another delight, offering a chill spot to unwind under the sun. Plus, my room...  

Just spent 6 nights at Equator Village, and it was a mixed bag. The staff at the pool bar were genuinely lovely, making efforts to ensure everyone had a good time. The pool and beach areas were nice to relax in. it really gave that laid-back vibe I was hoping for. I loved that the food offered was tasty. I appreciated the strong drinks too. the communication among staff could be confusing at times, and I felt this led to a few hiccups while trying to plan activities. The room, a standard double, had its issues. While it was cleaned daily, the bed had wheels, making it quite uncomfortable. I noticed broken tiles, which was a bit disappointing considering the price. The surroundings were charming, but there were roosters waking me up too early each morning. Not the ideal wakeup call when seeking relaxation. If they could improve on the cleanliness of the rooms and address the early-morning noise from the roosters, it would make a big difference.

The snorkeling was unforgettable, with vibrant marine life just off the beach. Biking around the island was a fun adventure!

A paradise for snorkeling and relaxation

My stay was truly memorable, particularly because of the snorkeling right off the beach, where I spotted turtles, colorful fish, and even a moray eel. The spacious bungalows offered a cozy bed just meters from the turquoise sea, creating a serene atmosphere for relaxation. Dining was a culinary delight, with a specific highlight being the reef fish, which was always perfectly cooked and consistently on the menu. Complimentary bicycle hire allowed me to explore the area effortlessly and enjoy the local culture. One area for improvement could be the beverage selection at mealtimes, as a bit more variety would enhance the dining experience.
